1.3.1.2 <VenueReference>
A <VenueReference> is a reference element that may be subsctituted
for a <Venue> element () if the Supplier wants to utilise
the data contained in a shared <VenueDefinition> element ().
For more information on reference elements please see .
Attributes
- supplierDefinitionId
- compulsory.
- previousVID
- optional, If the event was previously going to be
held at a different venue and this fact was publically advertised,
then the Supplier should include the Venue ID of the previous venue
in this element. This will make it clear that the event is the same
event that has moved, rather than being a similar but potentially
unconnected event in a different location. This will be particularly
relevant to individuals that hold tickets for the event at the old
venue (although IVES takes no responsibility for whether these tickets
will be usable in the new venue or not). This attribute may be used
in conjunction with the rescheduledFrom attribute on <Performance>
()
