The Descriptive Elements enable Suppliers to provide additional information about their Events. However, the use of the descriptive elements is optional, both from the perspective of Suppliers and Consumers, and therefore care should be taken to produce as accurate a model of your data without using the descriptive elements and then use them to provide additional information as necessary.
